Here you are a stone’s throw away from the Cittadella, the ever-competing opera houses Astra and Aurora, the picturesque high-street of it-Tigrija (Triq Fortunato Mizzi & Triq ir- Republika), the culturally-infused pjazza of St George as well as museums, churches and other places of interest. Additionally, we are very accessible from various villages, but also very well connected to bus stops near-by (3minute walk to Vianni bus stop and 4-minute walk to Ghonq bus stop). What’s more, City Stay is close to many amenities, shops and restaurants and you also have the advantage of having a wider choice and later closing times in Victoria. Being centrally-located also offers the unique advantage of ease of travel: bus connections on the island run mostly by being connected to Victoria. Specifically, to go from one village to another, one usually gets there more easily and faster by taking a bus to Victoria and then from Victoria to that village. The same goes for beaches and cultural sites. Not many travellers who are new to Gozo know this, but it is essential to grasp the local transportation system in order to save time, which could be better spent visiting and enjoying Gozo!
